Spa Doctors offers a wide selection of skin treatments to
enhance your body's appearance. Below you will find a brief description of each
service we offer.
Laser Hair Reduction
A quick and very effective way to remove unwanted hair from virtually any area
of the body, this laser works by delivering intense light energy selectively to
the pigment in hair. The hair building components are then disabled over a
series of 3-5 treatments. Most anatomic areas can be treated including legs,
bikini, back, underarms, face and chest.
Photorejuvenation
Also called a photofacial or non-surgical face lift, Photorejuvenation reduces age
spots, freckles, sun spots and other pigmentary irregularities while stimulating
the production of collagen, the skin's natural support protein. Pores appear smaller
and skin looks firmer. It's a wonderful way to clear away sun damage and look younger
in the process! Best results follow a series of 6 treatments done 3-4 weeks apart.
Photorejuvenation is most effective when combined with Microdermabrasion and Botox
Injections. With the use of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, dramatic improvements
can now be accomplished with no downtime. ALA (Aminolevulinic acid) is an optional and very
effective adjunct to photorejuvenation. This painless photosensitizer is applied to area
approximately 1 hour prior to treatment and exponentially increases the effectiveness of
photorejuvenation treatments.
Microdermabrasion
Also known as a lunchtime peel, Microdermabrasion is a deep exfoliation - a
non-invasive procedure requiring no downtime. Micro-crystals are placed on the
skin and then vacuumed off, removing dead skin cells and revealing softer,
smoother, younger looking skin. After 6 weekly treatments, you can expect to
see healthier skin with fewer fine lines. Microdermabrasion is an effective
adjunct to Photorejuvenation and Botox® Injections.
Laser Treatment of Veins and Broken Capillaries
Laser vein treatment is an FDA approved practice that involves a laser light that
targets a specific vein and ultimately dissolves it. This procedure works to eliminate
unsightly spider veins, varicose veins and broken capillaries on the legs, face, and
other areas in anywhere from 3-8 treatments! These laser treatments are successful
for cosmetic purposes and for problematic or painful veins.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a precise cosmetic procedure for the treatment of varicose veins via the
injection of a sclerosing solution in a comfortable medical setting. Sclerotherapy can be
effective in conjunction with laser treatment for the elimination of unwanted leg
veins. Best results are seen after a series of 3 treatments.
Botox® Injections
Now a national phenomenon, Botox® Injections can effectively diminish wrinkles. Results
will last 4-6 months and are most effective when combined with Microdermabrasion and
Photorejuvenation.
Restylane® Injections
Known for its instant and long lasting correction of facial wrinkles, Restylane® is a safe
and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct
moderate to severe facial wrinkles in areas such as the glabella and naso-labial folds
(otherwise known as frown and laugh lines). The effects of Restylane® Injections can last
up to 9 months. Restylane® is the first and only cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal
based hyaluronic acid - a biocompatible substance that already exists in the human body.
Chemical Peels
Alpha Hydroxy Acids are helpful in treating a variety of skin conditions. They
have proven to be effective in treating dry skin, acne, and liver or sun spots -
minimizing fine facial wrinkles and improving skin texture. Chemical peels have
also been shown to increase skin thickness up to 15% in patients with sun damaged
skin. This occurs through the stimulation of collagen production, the skin's natural
support protein. It also helps to loosen and remove dead skin cells. This treatment
is also very effective for controlling mild to moderate acne.
Ear Lobe Repair
This minimally invasive procedure surgically repairs unsightly torn earlobes.
